Plymouth Offshore Points Series (POPS)

 

The series for 2010 will consist of the following races

 

Saturday - 1 May - Plymouth to Falmouth – RWYC

Friday - 28 May - Plymouth to St Peter Port – RNSA

Thursday - 10 Jun - Plymouth to St Malo – RWYC

Thursday - 15 Jul - St Mary’s IOS Race - RPCYC

Thursday – 24 Jun - Yealm to Trebeurden – YYC

Saturday – 4 Sep – Plymouth to Salcombe - RNSA

Sunday - 5 Sep - Salcombe to Plymouth – PYC

 

The Plymouth to Salcombe and Salcombe to Plymouth races on 4th and 5th Sep respectively count as ONE race

        NOTES:                                                                                                                                                                   

1.   Allocation of points is the LOW SCORE system.                                                                                                   

2.   Points for boats not finishing any race in the series are scored 1 more than the number of starters of the race attracting the largest number of starters

        (16 (FALMOUTH). Scores will, therefore, change as the season progresses.

3.   The Division between Div 3A and 3B is set at 1.000 and over (This will be at variance with the cut for individual races)

4.   Best 4 races to count at least one of which must be cross Channel (*)
